Today we introduce you the Roland VR-50HD MK II, a powerful multi-format video audio mixer, the latest Roland all-in-one evolution that offers maximum flexibility and quality to achieve professional results in any working condition. Designed from the needs of users, with a complete set of hardware controls, the monitor preview touch screen and quick controls for audio and video effects, the VR-50HD MK II allows a single operator to manage any type of event with a wide range of input and output signal streams and streaming and recording via USB.
The VR-50HD MK II is equipped with 4 SDI inputs on BNC, 4 HDMI inputs with HDCP support, 2 RGB/Component inputs and 2 Composite inputs. The outputs include two SDI (PGM, AUX), three HDMI (PGM, AUX, PVW) with HDCP support, two RGB/Component outputs (PGM, AUX) and USB 3.0 output. Video content from older to newer sources, from video cameras, computers, Dvds and Blu-ray, is supported, with quality from 480p up to 1920 1080/60hz.
The VR-50HD MK II offers the possibility to manage and work on video signals in different ways. You can apply video effects directly on the input signal and repropose them on the output one, such as Mix, Cut, Pinp, Chroma Key, Luminance Key; all easily manageable with the quick controls or the touch monitor. Or individually manage multiple output contents at the same time, choosing what to transmit on the main PGM output and what on the AUX outputs.
The VR-50HD MK II uses the same connection technology of the webcams; via USB 3.0 you can use any streaming service, all plug-and-play, without software to download or drivers to install. With the free Roland VR Capture software (for Mac and Windows) you can record to a web-ready full HD AV file.
Pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) robotic cameras are increasingly used in events because they eliminate the need for multiple operators, provide excellent coverage and can be placed in discrete positions due to their small size. The VR-50HD MK II includes integrated support to control PTZ LAN cameras compatible JVC, Panasonic, Sony, Ptzoptics, Avonic and VISCA, thus eliminating the need for an operator and a dedicated controller. Up to six PTZ cameras can be controlled simultaneously via the LAN port.
Achieving professional audio quality with the VR-50HD MK II is also easy for a single operator, thanks to advanced features including Automix, Video Follow Audio, Delay and Anti-feedback. You can comfortably manage 12 audio signals thanks to the manual commands and options Select, Solo and Mute available for each channel. The available inputs are four mic/line XLR combos, four stereo RCA pairs in addition to embedded audio in the input video signals. The available outputs are: an L/R main output on XLR, an AUX output on RCA, an AUX/Monitor output on TRS, two 1/4 stereo jack outputs and mini-jack.
