Roland XS-42H is a matrix switcher, it installs easily and allows advanced video management.
Suitable for installations such as conference rooms or professional uses, it presents in the rear for video four inputs and two outputs in HDMI and for audio inputs and line outputs on stereo RCA connectors. There is a USB port from which you can upload images or to update the system, a LAN port and an RS232 connector from which you can control the system remotely.
In the front we find a headphone output with relative volume control encoder, an encoder to control the audio signal input and one for the output signal.
For the video there is an encoder that allows you to easily decide the transition time when you change scene.
There are backlit buttons that allow you to decide which is the input source and which is the output, a button for calling the scenes and a button to block the system from accidental interactions.
In addition to direct control you can also manage via a browser directly from computers, tablets or smartphones so you can select the presets, change the inputs and control the volume.
A very important feature is the separate scaler for each HDMI input which allows to have sources of different resolution passing from one to the other without creating any problem in output.
Another useful feature is the ability to decide on a default input so that when a computer is disconnected, the XS-42H can automatically return to a specified input instead of the typical black screen. You can also upload an image via USB such as the company logo, or, for example, the name of the meeting room. Audio outputs allow you to connect it to external speakers, soundbars or audio mixers for significantly higher audio quality.
The XS-42H will commuter the audio embedded in the HDMI signal corresponding to the selected video input
Thanks to the supplied mounting bracket, the XS-42H can also be installed as a rack.
